David and Mark Hoare
David Hoare started his joinery business in 1971 in a small workshop in Chichester. As the business grew, it became necessary to find a larger workshop so he moved to Fontwell for several years then eventually moved to bigger premises in Tangmere, just outside Chichester, from where we currently operate.
He continued to design and create a huge range of bespoke timber products for his customers, both private and trade.
David's keen attention to detail and sourcing of high quality materials earned him an enviable reputation associated with excellence in his field, in terms of both service and finished products.
These exceptional standards were handed down to his son, Mark, when David decided to retire in 1998 and Mark took over leadership of the company.
Mark continues to honour his father's legacy and exceed his customers' expectations by maintaining the quality of workmanship that his father demonstrated over the years to develop the thriving operation it is today.
