Accoya - A revolutionary wood created from only fast growing, abundantly available certified tree species such as Radiata Pine.It is an engineered timber that it is stable with a durability status matching or exceeding most hardwoods. It is water resistant, virtually rot proof, swelling and shrinkage is massively reduced which means it’s easier for us to machine and process, and for you to maintain, no twist or warp so there is very little to no movement in the joints meaning that it not only looks better for longer but also requires less maintenance. Accoya is also an environmentally friendly material manufactured from sustainable pine forests, the entire ‘chemical’ process is non-toxic, the by-products are repurposed so there is no waste, and the end product, is totally recyclable.
